Purpose
The Office of Civil Rights (OCR) is looking into partnering with you to get information out about business opportunities with Caltrans. OCR is also dedicated to increasing the participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE), and Small Business (SB) firms in both Federal and State contracting procurement.

Governor Brown signed into law the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017 also known as Senate Bill (SB) 1. SB 1 is investing $54 billion over the next 10 years for the state and local transportation projects. This creates additional opportunities for all small businesses, including business owned by women, minorities, disabled veterans, LGBTQ, and disadvantaged groups which include; Black American, Hispanic Americans, Native American, Asian-Pacific Americans, Subcontinent Asian American to participate on public works projects with local and state transportation agencies.Contact
